🌙 The moon has been sighted at various locations throughout the East Coast. Therefore, we shall complete 29 days of fasting.

🎉 Eid al-Fitr will be tomorrow, Friday, March 20th inshaaAllah. Eid Mubarak!

🕌 Eid Salah will be offered at these 3 times inshaaAllah:

Prayer 1: 7:30 AM — Khadeeja Islamic Center
Prayer 2: 9:00 AM — Khadeeja Islamic Center
Prayer 3: 10:30 AM — Khadeeja Islamic Center

🕌 Jumu'ah Prayer schedule:

Jumu'ah Prayer 1: 1:30 PM — Masjid Al-Noor (only prayer)
Jumu'ah Prayer 1: 1:30 PM — Khadeeja Islamic Center
Jumu'ah Prayer 2: 2:30 PM — Khadeeja Islamic Center

🫴 Zakat-ul-Fitr is $18 per person of the family. If you haven't already given your Zakat-ul-Fitr, please do so before the Eid prayer. You may choose to give it yourself, or if easier, you can use this option:

📜 Why local moonsighting?

Hadith in which Abdullah b. 'Abbas (RA) did not accept the sighting of moon in Syria to start the month in Medina, stating that it was not what the Prophet (SAW) had taught them.
