Tragedy Near the Utah Border: Urgent Request for Duas

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of a tragic car accident near the Utah border that has claimed lives.

Dr. Abdul Naveed Shaik and his family from Fremont, California were involved in a fatal car accident in Elko County on their return from Yellowstone National Park. We mourn the loss of his wife, Sr. Nazia, and their two children, 17-year-old Hafiza Nihaa and 13-year-old Hafiz Omar. May Allah grant them Jannatul Firdaus and grant enormous patience to their family.

Br. Naveed is currently receiving care in the ICU at University of Utah Hospital, and his surviving daughter is being treated at Primary Children's Hospital. ISGSL is actively coordinating with their family members and hospital administration to provide support during this time.

We urgently request your duas for:

  • The complete recovery of Br. Naveed and his daughter

  • Sabr and strength for the entire family

  • All those affected by this tragedy
